Default Low Fuel Light not working

Just recently my low fuel light has stopping working on my 08 Super Glide. I have run the tank down to the red 2x now and it doesn't come on. Has anybody had this happen to them and whats the fix? Id hate to take to the dealer and be with out my main transportation.

Yea the gauge seems to be working fine. I filled up this morning and the needle was way low and all was ok. Definately something weird, but that figures with my luck . LOL

LOL, yea thats whole other subject but for the quick answer is no at this time. They said on tube was out of spec height wise and they corrected that but its still the same. I am figuring that thats just the way it is for now. Until I get around to changing out the trees.
Right now I just want to get this issue resolved b4 I run myself out of gas out in the boonies where I live. lol

Wish my low fuel light wasnt working..lucky. I have a tank lift and it comes on early, I hate looking at it. I also wish I could find something to cover the stupid window on the fuel gauge side. Ive looked at the covers you attach with double sided tape but want a plain chrome one to match the filler side.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;I just fill up every 150 miles.

LOL I also have a 2" lift on my bike, I dont mind the light coming on a bit early as it gives me a heads up, which is good as Im out in sticks with just one gas station between me and the next town. Right now I am also filling up at 150-155 miles. However ya know as its a new bike I just want things to work right.

My low fuel light came on this am. I thought the speedo was supposed to provide&nbsp\\;an estimated distance to empty when that happened, but I have never seen it.
