Speedometer bracket on an 08 SG
I am looking to chrome the speedo, and was hoping someone else has used the 95 later speedometer bracket on the 08. It looks as though it would work, but I have been wrong in the past. Thanks again for the help.

I don't think you'll have a way to hook up the leds. \\;\\\\\\; I picked up a Sportster take off on Ebay and chrome risers for about $75. \\;\\\\\\; You might want to consider that. \\;\\\\\\; The pic below shows mine.

So as I understand it, the sportster chrome bracket will work? \\; The LEDS will work between models, and if so I take it I need one from newer models? Thanks for your info...

Take a look at my older posts. An 04 and up Sportster Custom speedo setup will work on an 06 and up FXD. I got one from a wrecked one on Ebay and it was plug and play for my 06 FXDI. The idiot lights fit in with no wiring alteration. I like the position a lot better since it puts the speedo under the clamp instead of on top.

Ya I am a little disappointed in the options for the speedo. I bought a Super glide thinking that was the only thing I didnt care for and would be a simple fix. Guess I was wrong lol

Harley Part # 67293-95 is what we used on my Wifes 08 Superglide , Fits perfectly.

If you dislike it too much you can look at an aftermarket digital setup that some people have done on here. Some people have changed out the tank so they can mount it there but that can get expensive.
