I just finished installing the Thundermax on my bike tonite. Couldn't find an exact match on maps, so I downloaded the closest one. It's way too rich right now. Gotta tweak on it a bit to get it right. I really think it's gonna be a cool deal once I get all of the kinks worked out. But I've gotta say, the installation on Dynas is a bit tougher than other models.
Next is the Woods TW6 cams. That should really wake it up hopefully!!!
Very cool looking bike. What did you have before and how does the Thundermax sound compare? I have V&\\;H straightshots, thinking about Bassani 2-1.
Smith,
The Thundermax is a EFI controller that takes the place of the stock ECM. I think you were actually asking about the Thunderheader exhaust I'm running on my bike. I've been using Thunderheader exhaust for years on my bikes. I love the performance and the sound. It's got a unique sound all it's own. The Basanni 2into1 is a really good system also. For performance, you simply can't beat a good 2into1 exhaust system.
Ahh, yes. Thank you for the clarification. I was going through my SERT file last weekend comparing what the shop did on my dyno run against factory reference. So much to learn on ECM and tuning. I think the next step for me is a good 2-1 to get the performance up. - Thanks again.
you staying with the stock heads? \\; cause if you are gonna change heads or if you respring the stock heads you could go with the TW-8-6 which would really make that bike a screamer!
Im looking to install the TMax auto tune on my 08 SB here in a couple weeks. \\; When you say its much harder install for the dyna what do you mean? \\; I assumed it be a rather easy plug in operation.
man saint that bike is sick!!! you do some amazing work! i really love the V stack! i have said it over and over! very sharp... what size woods are you going with?
