I also had a bad front isolator 2 dealerships told me was good. \\; Excessive vibe through the frame, especially on decel. \\; I finally broke down and bought the isolator myself and replaced it, now it shakes like a dyna should. \\; I think the problem may be the isolator is right under the oil filter\\; oil leaks during a filter change and breaks down the rubber/glue.

SeeNoSun good to hear you are getting yours replaced. Airborne Id only replace it if you cant think of anything else causing your problem. It would suck to spend $100.00 for nothing.. I pulled my rear isolator today just to check it out and it looked perfect. Also Airborne I forgot to get the dimensions of the old isolator I had before I turned it over to my dealer. Sorry, I meant to give you some measurements so you could pull your old one and check it before the $100.00 was spent.

My engine is completely sitting on the mount. There is no gap so every everything is being transmitted to the frame. Would rather they cover it by warranty but the HD dealer here will do anything in its power to keep from doing that. I guess they get a bonus for the least amount of covered warranty work.. LOL

I replaced mine after having more vibration than it used to have. \\; Looked just like the pics on page 1. \\; Mainly noticeable during acceleration and 2 up, as expected. \\; Feels great now. \\; Thanks EXPY!!!

well i had the injector problem , i had the inner primary bearing problem, I had the battery box bolt problem, this one i haven't had. 17,000 and toolin along. I had a ironhead in the 80's that made me **** blood after 150+ miles

Keep in mind that a service manual is a good idea. \\;Most importantly \\;this does not turn your Dyna into a Goldwing and I doubt it will solve everyones excessive vibration issues (real or imagined). I think I just got lucky and stumbled onto my problem and got it fixed easy enough. I'd hate \\;to see alot \\;of people \\;dropping $100.00 and not getting any real benifit out of it so go about it cautiously.
