I have always put left foot down first. But have always used front brakes to stop. Sounds like this is my problem.

I always use both brakes with even pressure down to a dead stop, but I sometime experience the same wheel turn you have Tattooedlife - will ease off the front tomorrow on the way to work to see if that works.

Damn, f#$%ing board, can't post long messages...here's part 2.

"I do look up though when I stop though. That MSF course is one of the best things new, or even seasoned (grizzled?) riders can do. I've been riding for over 30 years and it certainly taught me a few things, plus helped me break some bad habits I've developed over the years."

I knew a guy that just forgot to put his feet down often and just fell over. I don't know why.

When I taught the MSF classes the #1 problem with the students when stopping was that they looked down and not straight ahead.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; To solve this I told to imagine that a fishing line with a barbed hook was attached to the back of their head then routed down their back with the hook placed in their pants and if they looked down the hook would be "set".&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The students would envision this and miraculously their stopping was perfect!&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
By chance are you a high school phys ed teacher too?
