I haven't been able to post my last full chronicle given the site's technical difficulty but for anyone sitting on the edge of their seats from my last chronicle - Franchesca didn't work out... [&:]
In case I can squeeze this in: Last night I was putting on my gear in a parking lot outside of a family eating establishment and a man walked by with two small boys. I didn't think much of it until I heard one of them say\\; "look dad - it's a motorcycle man!". "A motorcycleman" I thought... This is when new riders like me begin to realize that in the eyes of the smallest of the small, "motorcycle riders" are often seen as super heros. As corny as it may sound, I waved to the boys as I closed my mirrored face shield - the way McGriff the Crime Dog or superman might wave and suddenly I felt the pride of holding the same status as any given national hero symbol - at least for that moment - at least in his eyes.
Samething happened to me with a little boy in the back of a Jeep. I waved and smiled, his jaw droped when he saw me and his eyes were glued on me and the bike, until his Dad turned left. It's great to see their eyes and feel their excitement. I can still remember how I was at that age. Thank you both for our freedom.
I had a little girl wave at me as I was parking my bike tonight at the local restaurant, the rest of the family walked on by, but she was in the back and waved, it was cute.
That's cool. The little ones(mostly) have not been brainwashed about the 'big, bad biker men'.
They just see the coolness of riding, and imagining how fun it must be not to have to peddle.....
To infinity and beyond!
\\; Actually your enthusiasm is refreshing. \\; Can see you are enjoying the motorcycle experience.  \\;Definitely not the worst thing Iâve read here. \\; And you havenât mentioned fingerless gloves or assless chaps.  \\; I wouldnât mind reading your next installment.
I always love the kids who pull their hands down like they want you to honk the horn, just give the throttle a little more and wag your tail as you go buy them and they love it.
Chief? 25? Hahaha... Maybe I should go Warrant, I want to get out at 10 and I made SFC at 8.
