I have an street B and was not planning to use as daily transportation (thats what the bmw is suppose to be for )
however i can help myself ,with the solo set up hard to carry anything and dont want saddlebags
ie softail look but was thinking of seat /sissy bag bag set up ...what other options do I have besides what H.D. offers??
atom i bougt the quick release for the pillion seat its for the 05 but it still works you dont need the rubber pads it comes with a big rubber pad that just sits on the fender and you can take it off
I was wondering about that Dynabob. I see it in the P&A book, with a big ol' sheet of rubber for the pillion seat to sit on - I wasn't sure it would fit the '06's because of the wider fender. I've been running my Bob since December with just the solo set up and the pillion seat still sat in its box...

i just ordered the pillion because the g-friend does't like the 5" wide seat on the sidekick. i'll just use it when i know she'll be comming with me just like the detachable sissybar. do i have to use those rubber stops on the fender or can i mount it to the pillion instead?
That's question I've asked myself. I suspect that the slight movement between seat and fender (with passenger or not) will cause some paint damage. When I got my dual seat for my Sportster, I asked the dealer if I should protect the rear fender from the bottom of the seat. He recommended a soft towel go between the two surfaces. That didn't stop an imprint of a towel into my clear-coat! I getting to think once you go two-up your solo days are over, but I am going to try the '05 quick detach kit with the "improved fender isloation" bracket on ma Bob.
