Black denim here. Removed reflectors and tank logo on day with 77 degree weather using dental floss. Cleaned up the residue with rubbing alcohol. No problems. That denim paint is hardy stuff.

Denim here too. I removed all reflectors (and emblem) with nothing more than a hairdryer. I rubbed the leftover gunk off with my [clean] finger. Windex, wipe and walk away.

I removed the reflectors from my black denim Bob as well. Just peeled them off. The front takes the tape with it, because of the slick clear coated forks. The rear needed 3M adhesive remover. Just wasn't too sure about the dental floss/fishing line method. Especially on a new bike where the double sided tape is still soft. You cannot wax black denim.

Here's a quick way: using masking tape around the reflector to protect from an oops and get a big pair of lock-jaw pliers. Grip the reflctor high up (as far away from) the sliders as possible and twist. Peel off any leftover adhgesive tape with your fingers. Start to finish less than 5 minutes.

Reflectors may not look the greatest but they could save a life....

I always keep mine and put them back on with all the other gear that I have removed when I sell the bike, makes it look a little more presentable. If you look very closely you'll find these reflectors were made in Finland - a little trivia for you (I was born there).

After reading this thread last night, I went out and removed mine. I used a hairdryer and some fishing line. Then I used WD-40 to clean up the residue. All 4 removed in under 30 minutes (including clean-up!). I like the new "cleaner" look![sm=shades.gif]

Yes. And we are proud of that over here! Hopefully there is no parts made in Sweden...
