me too, didn't use fishing line. took some velcro straps for the back, put one on each side between the reflector & the fender, & pulled. for the glue, held my heat gun way back, & just rubbed it off. very very easy. still have a little residue, but barely barely noticable, but will eventually go out with the wd/40 & get the rest off ( it's just a little square halo where the glue used to be, but you can only see it when looking at an angle ). didn't need the fishing line...

I've been real superstitious about this.Sure as I take the reflectors off that will be what causes me to get my *** busted some nite cause somebody didn't see me. Finally compromised and took the fork reflectors off and kept the one on the fender.Sawed them off with dental floss and rubbed residue off with a towel and a little Mothers chrome polish.Does look better.
