Default Windshield?

Hi guy's as I said in another post I added a quick detach HD compact windshield.&nbsp\\; Went out on the highway for a couple of hours today&nbsp\\;and I noticed that the wind hit me right in the forehead rattling my brain.&nbsp\\; Unless to bent my head down.&nbsp\\; Hate to ask this stupid ? but is this the way it is?&nbsp\\; I wanted a shield that I could see over not through.&nbsp\\; My shield is eye level.&nbsp\\; I think...I&nbsp\\;expected more....

Course it depends on your height, but I have the quick-detach standard. Airstream hits high on helmet, but I do look through the screen most of the time. I think you get used to it.

2nd that, try it for awhile. I think you will notice it doesnt bother you later. I was the same way after I got mine but now I dont even notice it. I think its called wind buffeting. What I do notice is no more bugs, no more wind pressure on my chest pushing me off the bike, I am warmer, no more death griping, and I can hear better. All of this makes&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;for a more comfortable ride too. And dont forget, you have some adjustments too you can make on that W/S....up, down, tilt and if your helmet has a visor on it, try taking that off too and see if the wind buffeting is less.

With the QD you should have a little vertical adjustment, my WG allows me to move it up or down about an inch and a half. I have less buffetting with the windshield at chin height or lower, the fork bag does help alot also.

The buffeting can be a real pain. The fork bag works, and so does lowers from Memphis shades.
What did wonders for me was those goofy looking passing lights. They might look like crap to some, but they serve multiple functions

Okay good advice.&nbsp\\; What is a fork bag?&nbsp\\; I will have a look at&nbsp\\; instructions that came with the screen to see if there is some adjustment.&nbsp\\; I did notice that if I tightened the hell out of my (full face)&nbsp\\;helmet is wasn't as bad...but that had other issues &nbsp\\;
