brake fluid leak
the other day i noticed a little pain bubbling up around the lid on my front brake fluid resevoir. a friend of mine has the same bike, '06 low rider, and he has the same issue. i began tightening the screws and noticed a rubber flange under the lid started to schmoosh out a bit so i backed off the screws a half turn and called it good. anyone else seen this? is there a better lid or flange available?

RE: brake fluid leak
There have been many posts about this issue. \\; A lot of the master cylinder gaskets were replaced under warranty. \\; Some may have been due to improper tightening of the screws. \\;
 \\;
As you mentioned, the screws do not need to be buried tight into the m/c body. \\; They should be just tight enough to allow the gasket to sit flush and sealed around all edges.
