First flat.. I got lucky.
 \\;
 \\;Just wanted to share my wonderful weekend with everyone.. I hail from Illinois and actually have a bike this year and was off work for the Freedom Run Return to the Wall in Marseilles Il. \\; Well I take off about 845 am and about half way there as I am starting to crest an over pass I notice a change in the exhuast tone on my bike?? Immediately I am thinking I slipped one of my slip ons so I slowly pull over to the side of the road. When I get off my bike something feels amiss but I can't put my finger on it. Then the smell of HOT rubber hits me.....then I see it the tire is flat...Luckily I was slowing down for the over pass \\;and was only going about 35 mph when this all happened. I know it could have been alot worse. Yes, I am very thankful......
 \\;
 \\;To make a long story short 1 1/2 hour wait for the tow truck and 2 \\;hour wait for a new tire because the old one has a 2" construction nail sticking out of the side wall then the hour ride home. \\; I ended up missing the ride for the Freedom run along with the ceremony and I spent about $ 400 to boot. Thank God for my HOG membership. Needless to say it was a wonderful weekend.
 \\;
Anyway just wanted to share my experince. Also wanted to spread the word about the Freedom Run for those of you who are not faimiliar with it. It is a wonderful cause.
 \\;
One more FYI I have listed a Vance and Hines Fuel Pack for sale in the want ads if anyone is interested.
 \\;
Later,
Joe
