Default Removing Baffles

I've got the stage one installed and have the VH big radius. I removed the baffles and I think it sounds so much better. Say LOUDER. Anyway I've got a sweet decel popping between shifts and overall I like it. Is there any negative feedback from anyone concerning long term effects of having the baffles removed besides my neighbors hating me more and more. What do you think?

I have ran my bikes without baffles for years now. As long as you have the stage one, run the **** out of it!!
Enjoy!!

You need some kind of baffle or your going to run hot and eventually damage the engine. Do a search&nbsp\\;in this section and the exhaust section&nbsp\\;and you will find dozens of threads, if not hundreds,&nbsp\\;on this topic. You didn't mention wether you also installed a SERT, Power Commander, V&amp\\;H tuner, or some other fuel management system. If you didn't, you need one of those also or your really going to screw things up.&nbsp\\;Do a search on this also if you need too. These are probably the most discussed topics on the forum.&nbsp\\;As for baffles, look into the Big City Thunder baffles. You will love the sound. Just under $100 for the V&amp\\;H Big Radius. I have them on my bike with Big Sucker and SERT.

It's got the SERT and high flow A/C. I removed the heat shields and then removed the set screw that hold each baffle in. Well the first one basically fell out. The second one needed some "ASSISTANCE". Finished around 9 pm. Waited until the next day to start. WHAT a Difference. NOW it sounds like the HD I wanted.
