Just wondering if any body ever takes the baffles out of there SE pipes .I was wanting something louder .If I can do this Would I need a race tuner or something installed on it

I had the BCT (Big City Thunder) Baffles in My Screamin Eagles and they sounded Great.
Deep and throaty, Not over the top loud.
Gave them to a friend with stock aircleaner and stock MAP and no issues whatsoever....
No need to remap unless you go with a high flow aircleaner. ECM/EFI canot adjust to the higher flow of air and bike will run lean and HOT!
BCT's are a great deal.

I took mine out before i had a an aircleaner and fuel system and it poped allot, it was allot louder though. I ended up putting them back in. I have yet to try it with the new cleaner and fuel, maybe this weekend.

I pulled my baffles out and drilled the holes out to 1", reinstalled them and now I get a deeper/throater sound and they ROAR \\;when you twist the throttle. Otherwise, they sound a little louder than stock at idle. I left the "spoon" flap alone as it helps with back pressure.
