The easy answer is go try em on. \\; Check em out. \\; Touch em, feel em, and fondle em. \\; And just like a good woman, you get what you pay for. \\; Arai is top of the line. \\; What's your brain worth? \\; Seriously, go to the BMW dealer,the Honda shop, the Ducati Dealer, etc.... You'll get a good feel for what is right for your head. \\; Then cover it up so some deer, dog, moose, or worse, \\; cager doesn't try to take you out. \\; CCRyder

Bitto what Bigsky said... Go anywhere except a HD dealer. Try on all types of helmets. Leave them on for a few mins to get a good feel. Then with that info in mind you can better shop online or buy there. I did just that with my HJC AC-3, they did not have the one I was looking for buy the had the size in a different color so I knew what size I needed.

When I had my Monster I had 2 Scorpion helmets and an Arai. The Arai was lighter and the padding felt like it could breath better. I also didnt feel as hot in the Arai, so I guess it was either more air flow or better padding that let the heat escape.

BUT - the Arai seems noisier at speed, a higher pitch noise from the wind than my Scorpion ones.
