I was looking at some Roland Sands bars for my 08 SB. They are as follows: 1.5" rise, 32" width and 4" pullback. My only concern is will they hit the tank at all.
Anyone have any opinions. My real question is, I am worried with the short rise that I might be bent over to far. However, I am 6'4" and have forward controls. So I think it might be a very comfortable riding position. I sat on a few Night Trains and did not need to bend over, but they do have I think a 5-6" riser. Thanks in advance for any opinions.
1.5" of rise is really low. 6" of rise is a big difference...only you will know if you will be bent over too far....Will the bars look good with a riser...bet they will....you can get the bars and try out the stock riser setup, and, if too low, get some cool risers to compliment the look of the bar.
If your looking at their "flat out" bars they will look cool with any height risers for sure...
Hi. Look at my Bob -07 I have a 38" Black drag bar with the stock risers (approx 1,5" high). Looks brute, The signalhouses doesn´t hit the tank efter the signalmod but my bar is a little wider than yours.

I am 6"1' with forwards and it feels good. A 2" tank lift as I have is also a killer to the looks with the low bar.
