Let me start by saying I love my current ape set-up, however, Im shifting the bike more towards performance and handling rather than show and shine. I've been looking at drag bars quite a bit, I think they look pretty sharp, however I'm looking for suggestions.
Keep in mind, I'm stuck with the integrated risers, but I do have the loner extensions so 1 and 1/4 will fit, so just the bar. It would be a 1 and 1/4 (or 1 inch) drag bar, internal wiring, around 30 inches wide, and about 5-6 pull back.
As much as I like the looks of "apes", I decided to swap in some Chubby Wild 1 W0504 bars on top of Loner industries 2" risers (my SB is a 2010 model with integrated risers) becuase my left shoulder has an f'd up rotator cuff and holding my arm out straight and above shoulder level was not good.
Besides, I like the look of the bike with the lower bar (becuase every other SB has apes!) and it is a comfortable reach. I considered drag bars becuase I've had them on MANY other bikes, but for me it would not have been as comfortable.

I can take some more pics today if you want alternate views...
Good luck!
Pete

those pics are great! bike looks sweet. you wouldn't happen to have any pics of the clamping area would you? one of my concerns was how the integrated risers would look with the 1 inch clamping area to 1 1/4 bars.

This shows the riser area and transition from 1.25" to 1.0" between the riser clamps.
Will get more pics later today of entire bike... went with the vintage style grips and have removed the front fender. The look is getting more "old school" traditional/classic bobber to me.
