Grizzly,
I know this has been beat to death. But, which do you prefer if all a guy wants to do is add the screaming eagle mufflers to their dyna? I'm thinking that I don't have a clue about what the SERT, DFO, PCIII, and fuel pac are, but, the TFI seems simple enough for even me to handle.
The dealer says I should do the mufflers, air cleaner, and remap and just get it done. But, I like the idea of being able to tune my own bike with a TFI.
With so many different opinions on this whole issue it is getting to be abit confusing.
I guess I was hoping that the closed map system would eliminate the need for getting the dealer involved. I really hate the stock pipes. I'v had my eye on the Vance and Hines Big Radius. Any feedback?
Cannot go wrong with Vance and Hines. You will need the remap of the ECM though. If you change the pipes you may as well get a good K&N filter or something similar at the same time to compliment your new pipes.
I put this on another post but since you guys are talkin big radius ill put it here too. If Hooker makes their troublemaker pipes, which are a dead ringer for big radius, to fit 06 dynas (o2 sensors I know) I bet they would outperform V&H with a stage 1 upgrade. From what I've heard and read, the BIG RADes seem to flow to free for level 1 1450cc power.
