man my bike vibes at 65 to 70, is this normal ?
 \\;
Is it a vibration or a high speed wobble? If it is a wobble check your steering head bearings(might not be tight enough) causing the problem. Dave...
Ah....... I do Have a Memphis shade windshield on it, you think thats cuasing it , I relly feel this vibe all the way through my body, and in my teeth.......wife loves it though.
I have an 07 Dyna Low Rider with a Memphis Fats winshield. \\; I don't have the kind of vibration you are talking about with mine. \\; I'd take it to a dealer and have them check it out.
Does not seem normal. \\;\\\\\\; My 07 Dyna is very smooth at all speeds. \\;\\\\\\; I've had five Harleys since 1993 and none of them vibrated like what you describe. \\;\\\\\\; Time to take it in.....
 \\;
+1 on that - mine's real smooth throughout the power band. \\; I agree - it sounds like a Stealer visit.
Do a test ride without the shield. It could be causing the bad vibs.
Also there is a service bulletin out to change the washer on the steering neck. Remove the chrome cover exposing the large nut on the neck and if the washer underneath it is bent up to lock the nut then you need to get that changed.
My 06 SG vibrates also. I've had the front motor mount replaced and it still vibrates. In all gears and at any speed. The only way to see out my rearviews is to pull in the clutch and then the vibration stops.
I did notice that when the M/M was replaced, I had 500 to 600 miles of no vibration. I could read the bill boards in my mirrors. But then the vibration started to creep back in again.
I just made me a set of spacers for the M/M, regarding the article on spacers, but the thread by "ESPY" gives me another thing to check out.
I've taken my bike in to my dealer numerous times about the excessive vibration. They say it's acceptable, but it vibrates at a HARD, HIGH, FREQUENCY and I'm tired of it. I've looked into the "Bar Snake" to quell some of the vibration.
