My bob does it too. It's usually the first time that I apply the brakes that day.

Same with me...

I just took delivery of my Bob a week ago, and I'm experiencing the same phenomenon. Has anyone gotten a definitive answer as to what the clunk is all about?

Later,
Jerry

All good advice.. Something else to check is the front tank mount....

Sounds like the DYNA Clunk...

Another thing to check is the stem in the bottom fork mount... They are an interference fit, and we have found a few of them were not assembled correctly...

I heard it for the first time last week. I was hoping I was a lucky one with a sound front end but I guess not.

Just so you know, I experience the same thing when I apply the front brake. It reminds me of having a loose headset on a BMX bike.

Whiff
That's exactly what I said in a post sometime ago. Unfortunately, a motorcycle is a little different than a bicycle...at least as far as I'm concerned. I could tighten a headset on a bicycle in 2 minutes. Sounds like this is a little more complicated

I have an 06 WG and I notice it only on the first time I use the front brakes that day. After that no more noise. I do here a clanging when I'm going about 50 mph in 5 gear and give it some gas. Anyone else here this?
