I have noticed that there are quite a few people with mid-controls and hi-way pegs.
I have forward controls but I am wondering if anyone runs forward controls and kept the mid mount pegs also.
I think it would be nice to have another foot placement choice.
From what I can see I just need the brackets that bolt to the frame.
I use the mid foot rest on the highway &\\;\\\\\\; fold them away when I hit the exit ramp.
 \\;\\\\\\;
The mid brackets are from an 07 Street Bob.
Exactly my thoughts I ride about 60 miles each way back and forth to work and it would be nice while blasting fast to have my feet there.
Ron,
What are the details for the floorboards on your scoot? \\; they look awesome, something i have been looking for. \\; Can you give me some details?
tattoo13, I had the same idea as you. \\; I have a Fat Bob with factory forward controls and picked up some mid-mounts off an '07 Street Bob from eBay. \\; \\;I tried putting them on this weekend but low and behold, with a stock exhaust system on the Fat Bob, the mid-mounts hit the exhaust shield. \\; If you look at the exhaust shield from a Fat Bob with factory mid-mounts, they have a depression in the heat shield to clear the bracket. \\; I guess now, I'll either have to get a replacement shield from a mid-mount Fat Bob or put on an aftermarket exhaust. \\; Considering I just put on some S.E. slipons, I think I'll just get the heat shield.
Tattoo - I bought my Fat bob with forwards, and love em, but I had the same idea. \\; I bought the mid mount hardware from HD (everything except control hardware), and it bolted right on. \\; So far I'm not real comfortable with the mid position. \\; I'm 6', 240lb, and the pegs feel a little too high, and I just feel more stable with my feet on the forwards. \\; I'll wait till I take a long ride before I decide if I want to keep them.
 \\;
Lurch - the stock mid mount HW mounted over the exhaust shield without a problem.
