Any ideas on what to use for reassemble the bracket to the fender? Bolts will touch the tire.... \\;\\\\\\; Bolts from inside out will not look so nice.
just re drill and toss a few rivits in it... you may also want to look at going a bit shorter on the front and a bit longer on the back... just to keep the crap from flying up... i just did a fat bob conversion on my front fender, just did all of what your are doing (did not cut it shorter, just moved it back to wrap the tire more) but i still had to redrill and rivit it back up. let me know if i can help!
I used JB weld on mine and it's held up well for about a year now.I originally intended to drill some holes in it after it was set up and bolt it together but the JB Weld felt so solid I just put it back on and called it good. Before I JB welded it I did strip all the paint off the contacting surfaces, cleaned them with alcohol then applied liberal amounts of JB Weld.I'm pretty sure if it holds my full sized fender in place it could hold that mini real good.
