Default Question on passenger comfort

My wife needs to be a little more comfortable on the back of my Wide Glide. She says she needs the pegs a little lower and a little more forward. So I have been looking for any thing that might fit the bill. I am thinking I can get a couple inches by replacing the stock seat with one that is an inch or two taller for the passenger. Kuryakyn has forward swing pegs that might also work. Does anyone have any other ideas or an idea as to what seat would give me the inch or two rise?

there is a pad that some people i think it is called a Butt buddy or something liek that, it fits on top of your stock seat and is a bit larger of a seat... looks pretty nice!

I have the offset extensions for the wife.&nbsp\\; part 7954 from Kury.
&nbsp\\;
They are OK.&nbsp\\; It takes some dicking around with to get the pegs to fold up in a manner that the bike still looks OK when she isn't on the back.
&nbsp\\;
Bottom line is, everything we do to make the wife comfortable tends to comprimise the overall look of the bike... but, we do what we gotta do.

Oh, I did forget to mention that I do not want to screw up the looks or lines of the bike. Good catch, thrillseeker! That is what is making this search so dam difficult. There are plenty of options out there but so far every one of them looks like crap when when I picture them on the bike. I did look at the Kury extensions but folding them up would not look right IMO. That is why I am leaning towards the Kury folding pegs, the ones normally installed on the front to act as highway pegs when folded out. Kind of like the switchblades but in reverse., and a higher seat.

Just a suggestion http://www.pegrizer.com . Not lower, but way forward. Looks pretty comfortable for passenger with two different&nbsp\\;footing&nbsp\\;positions.

I thought about those but decided no...
reason is I believe those would actually put more pressure on the passengers tail section(butt and low back) as opposed to actually aleviating anything...they don't offer any more legroom from what I can tell from looking at them . she could get more legroom by being able to get her heel more foward like on some passenger floorboards... don't know if that will pass your style ideals though.

Try the sundowner seat if you don't have it already. My wife is approx. 5'10" and has no problems on my SB with her legs or back side.

I have both the kury adjustable peg extenders that rotate 360 degrees and the sundowner, wife is very happy now and can ride forever.&nbsp\\; Either or both would be a big improvement.&nbsp\\; BTW if you go with the kury peg extenders use them for a while and find the right position for your wife then take them apart and lictite the crap out of them making sure that the individual pieces are fully seated against one another otherwise you may have to take an hour long treasure hunt to find a piece of your missing peg on the highway.&nbsp\\; Dont ask me how I know I just do.

Truer words have never been spoken.&nbsp\\; I had a nice Sidekick Custom seat on my bike and added a detachable backrest for the Mrs.&nbsp\\; It wasn't enough...she then had to have a different seat, so I had to buy her a stock Low Rider seat.&nbsp\\; It looks ok, but not nearly as nice as that Sidekick.&nbsp\\; Then again, if that seat didn't work, I was looking at Street Glides, so it saved me a few $$$.
