Default Clutch adjustment

I took today off to do some maint on the bike. I was adjusting the clutch as per the instructions in the service manual. My questions is before I close everthing up there seem to be excessive drag when I try to move the bike with it in gear and the clutch pulled in. Is it too tight? I turned the screw in then out 3/4 of a turn the manual said 1/2 to 1 turn so I split the differance.

If the bike is not running it will give some resistance when in gear with the clutch pulled.&nbsp\\; I know mine does.

I adjust mine until I can pull the cable from the lever bracket and just squeeze a quarter in the gap. Always works perfect.

Thanks for replys, I had it right there is some resistance when the motor is not running. When I started it seems to be fine.
