Mud is right.&nbsp\\; On my '03 WG when I replaced my bars I had to pull them out slowly, carefully, and&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;patiently, take the sockets apart, and when I stuffed them back into the backbone just behind the head of the frame it&nbsp\\;was slowly, carefully and patiently, and its nothing but a pita but its the right way to do it.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; If you had to pulle the harness up to the front from the back of the frame its much the same although it will take a helper at the other end.

What I did is take out the battery and move away as many wires as possible don't disconnect anything and reach down with a set of long curved neeldle nose pliers and gently pull the wire loom and at the same time push the loom at the neck hope this helps you out
