I know the thread is old, but I've found a bank repossessed 35th Anniversary with 13,000 miles on the clock. I was thinking I might be able to get a deal on the bike. However, before bidding I'd like to know what build dates had the false nuetral issues. Any other helpful hints glady accepted.

If I'm not mistaken I think there was a recall and or product update for the trans case and or Inner Primary bearing.
It's the 1st year for the 6speed.
Nice bike. I dig them.
What production number is it?

Nice find. This one has 13k miles and I was thinking about bidding $7000. I'm certain the bank doesn't want it, and it's unlikely that they are getting flooded with bids. They have several others sitting around as well. Sure wish I knew what was still owed on it!

If it's still available when I return from vacation in 10 days, I'll check it out in person and see if she's worth pursuing further.
