Can you un-lower a FXDL I could have a good deal on \\;one but, it is just to low for me the way it sets. \\; 15,070.00 OTD! 2008 \\;105 Annaversary modle.
Not sure if that is a good deal I believe MSRP is about that. \\; But not sure what OTD means, I paid about 16k for my 07 at the end of 06. \\; Best wishes.
I lowered my FXD, so Iquess you can un-lower the lowrider. You can get the shocks for the regular FXD and the springs for the front forks. The only difference that the FXD and the FXDL is the FXDL's triple tree has a different dergree. If you don't want to do it yourself have a shop do it.
it is 3/4" lower than an 883c .... put a tall boy on it and you'll sit higher....
you can raise the suspension ....kills the good deal your getting....

I have an '08 Dyna Superglide Custom with 700 miles on it. I want mine lower. We could trade shocks even up.
According to the HD site\\; all the FXD's now have the same rake and the Low Rider isn't but a half inch lower (ground clearance) than an FXD. A quick look in an '08 parts book would probably tell you the only difference is the shocks...I've got a service manual and parts book on the way (wife just bought herself a new FXDL) but don't have them in hand yet. Curiously\\; the FXDL is the only big twin that comes with a tach.....
The FXDL has 1/2" shorter rear shocks and 1.5 or 2 degrees in the trees. If you switch back to FXD shocks and trees you're there (and the trees probably don't make a huge difference). A different seat might help too (or make it worse - depends on the seat).
