A few months ago, I purchased and installed a Cobra II 5.75 x 9 chrome bullet style headlight by Accessories Unlimited. \\; I bought it from Eastern Performance brand new in the box. \\; Today I noticed the reflective material just above the bulb is coming apart. \\; Appears that it could be caused by heat from the bulb maybe? \\; I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this with these headlights? \\;
By the way, it appears that it could be caused by heat from the bulb maybe? \\; I have emailed EP about it and am waiting for a response. \\; \\;Before this light, I had a 4.5 x 7 version made by the same company and had no issues.
Thanks, hopefully it's just a 1 off thing. \\; I already heard back from Jonathan at EP - offered to take care of it, I just have to give them a call in the morning. \\; Gotta love EP - still not a bad thing to say about them in my book.
I just found your thread. I have the same problem, on top of the melted reflective material, the glass is all fogged up! What happened with you? did they change it? did u have to send them the light? the problem is I am on the other side of the globe and shipping is a problem!

I didn't contact the manufacturer, I didn't have to. I contacted eastern performance, a sponsor of this forum and where I bought the headlight and numerous other things, and they took care of it. The sent me an entirely new bulb/lense assembly and I replaced it. So far, it seems to be holding up just fine.
