Some friends and I went to Daytona for bike week yesterday, left out about 6:30 in the morning and rode back roads the entire way. Had an absolute blast, spent the whole day cruising around. The place was PACKED out!
We left about 2 in the morning and rode back arriving in about 4:30 this morning.
That's my first time to bike week, I didn't realize how big that event was. We had a awesome day, got sun burnt, and put about 400 miles on the bike. It doesn't get much better than that....
A real shocker was I didn't see any other denim street bobs!
I can't wait until next year, only thing I'll do different is get a room.
Cool, I pretty much decided to wait until next year. Timing was just bad this time. Did you get to see Bruce Rossmeyer's big new dealership? I've been thinking about riding out that way later this month just to check it out. That's cool you weren't drowning in a sea of Bob's. Been kinda worried about that myself. Last thing I wanna do is look like everybody else.

RE: back from Daytona
Just got back myself last night. Put on 1500 miles in about 60 hours. I visited an old Army buddy in Orlando and we went everywhere. I was surprised I didn't see more denim bobs. Besides mine, I saw one with a two up seat. Some guy and his girl. I received a lot of attention and questions about the paint. It was a good time I just need more than 2 there. Maybe next year. I did get to see David A. Coe perform. Good time.
