The only drawbacks on a Full face are they are damn hot out here in the desert and you lose&nbsp\\;some peripheral vision. The benefits are women can't tell how old you really are, Coke cans, that some bone head tossed out of his SUV, don't make contact with your face. I'll stick with my extended Half

 

Does the extended half sit lower than the HD halfs or about the same?

 

Here is the link. their DOT helmets have a denser 5/8" foam instead of the 1" standard I have the extended half in natural.

Well im riding 100 miles to a shop tomm to try one out!

 

Bought one for 175 its not worth the money but out of all the dot halfs this is the best of the worst!

 

$175 is cheap for a decent DOT motorcycle helmet!
