I doubt you would have a problem BUT a guy here in town did have a chain break and lost his leg because he had no belt guard. Think if it snaps at 80...just a thought.

Anyway, belt replacement is expensive.If you run on cement/blacktop mostly with no gravel around you can getby running without.Otherwise imho I would run with one on.Lets see, cool or expensive...hmmmm

If it's the rear bolt, there is a nut on it, you'll need 2 wrenches.
