So what did it do to your mileage? Anything? But you feel the bike runs cooler? Dealer said I didn't need to do anything if just slip on's but I don't want to dick anything up. You can find just about any opinion you want on this forum but I want one that works.

Mine runs alot cooler, it made a big difference in power.&nbsp\\;I didn't buy it for gas mileage so I didn't think about checking the difference.

With SEII slip-ons and the SE air cleaner a simple HD remap was the trick to ensure I ran relatively cool (it's STILL a 96 inch air cooled motor, guys) and with NO decel backfiring. No SERT/PCIII needed. YMMV.

My air intake inlet was located right behind the front pipe, the 'FXDF" has a cat per page 28 in owners manual. Moving my air intake and freeing up the exaust and with the auto/tune it made a big difference. More so then when i did the same mods on my ZX12R.

I was never one to complain about the heat to start with.&nbsp\\; But yes it does feel cooler.&nbsp\\; I have no idea what mileage I'm getting before or after and don't care.&nbsp\\; Bike is for fun.
