Stage 1 debate continues
I was reading through my new issue of AIM and once again found a statement saying the stock ECM should be able to handle a stage 1 a/c and slipons with no remapping or aftermarket devices. \\; What gives? \\; In my experience, that just wasn't the case.

To clarify, a guy wrote in asking if he needed anything for this setup and the response was no, the ECM should handle such small modifications. \\; Even the so-called experts contradict themselves on this subject.

Listen to your engine, is it detonating? Pull your plugs and read them. However, I think you will find modifying your fuel management will improve your performance. Personally, I really like the PCIII.

Hmm. Have been thinking about getting A/C and fuel pak since I installed V&\\;H Straightshot HS slipons. Maybe I don't need either. Bike seems to be really running hot but it is in the mid 90's. I have no oil temp gauge.
