I just changed mine out on my SG today with chrome. A service manual and plenty of time is needed. It took me about 5 hours with frequent breaks (it was 97 with High humidity today) and one trip to the store. It was alot more involved than I thought it was going to be but all \\;\\\\\\;in all not bad. Tank removal is kinda a pain and several bolts are hard to get to.

Have to remove the tank, breather, then the upper rocker cover, rocker support bracket, lower plate and push rods. Have to do them one at a time because it must be at TDC when removing the support bracket. Back one is harder to get to so I suggest the front first to get the idea.
