the bee's knees. It's suh-wheat! Here's why:
1. The threads go from bold to normal to tell you if you have read the latest or not
2. It loads faster (probably because of the picture restrictions?)
3. It is doesn't insert a bunch of ///:://////s into your post
I am still getting used to it, but so far I like it a lot.
Not complaining here, but I wish the stickies would not show up on each page.
With only 20 posts per page, the stickies take up a lot of space. I wish they were banished to their own subforum.
I just wish the subscription function worked the same. Unless I just can't figure it out. Use to be able to subscribe and get the first new post in a forum, now I can only get a daily update.
Hope they change that.
I'm loving it! I can actually type in the comfort of knowing that I won't lose anything that I typed! Its nice! and no ///////////////;;// !!! Its awesome!
You guys can set how many posts per page and subscription options by clicking on your Control Panel (User CP) in the upper left blue Toolbar. Then scroll down the left column and click on "Edit Options." Tool around in there for a while and you can do all kinds of cool stuff.
I have tried all I can find, but don't see an option for the way we used to get them, anyways, talk about fast service, mud is already fixing the sticky request...

Terry
Terry, are you sure about that??
I do know you can select # of postings for a thread,
I may be missing the selection for # of threads on the first page.
Still gettin used to it but it is a definite improvement. Took a while to get the pics up but it's all good. I know there are a lot of options on here that I don't take advantage of. Thanks for the fix.
