I dropped off my wheels at Black Bike wheels today. They are going to take apart my wheels and re-lace them with a 21" gloss black front and an 18x5.5 gloss black rear rim with polished stainless spokes. For tires I am going with Metzler ME880's with a 90/90 21 for the front and a 180/55 18 for the rear. They are also going to powder coat my pulley gloss black. I should have them back by the 23rd so I'll post pics once they are back on the bike.
I'm trying to figure out rotors now. Black Bike wanted a lot to do the rotors, I guess because of the masking involved. I would really like to go with the polished rotors with the spoke pattern. I know that those are an 11.5 front. Will that work on the Dynas? I think ours are a hair larger and am not sure if it would affect anything.
you can always polish your own for about 20 min per rotor... i typically charge about 35- 45 per rotor depending on the style, just to give you an idea when you are working with your powder coater... sometimes it helps to have an idea of what others charge to help you get a better price from the coater you work with
the polish would really make the black pop!
I polished the lower legs and rotors on this bike with my brother (his old sporty) you can really get a good bling man... (sorry mud i did not have any smaller pics of the bike)
