I don't know how black of wheels that you want. I have a Dyna thatwith anatural finish and I would like to go to the 17" wheels and 180 tires. Harely has a 17" black and chrome rim for $399 that looks alright to me, part #43942-07, that I am thinking about. Either that or have the stock rims powder coated to look kinda like the rims on a '78 Lowrider.
Thanks for the replies............. benman- trying to get away from spokes......look the best but too much work coltsfan -seriously thinkingabout the HD Black Thunderstar..can't beat the price. vertigo14 - Are those HogPro Indys?I actually almost got those but didn't get the price I wanted to pay. Did you buy them from HogPro direct and if so how much did you get them out the door for? I'm now thinking about the blackHogPro Sonic Wheels or go with the HD Wheels and get 2 of theirs for the price of 1 HogPro.
They from Hogpro direct... 3000.00 (2 avon-venoms(200mm rear) and 2 Black magic indi rims(18.3 and 18.5, 1 matching pulley black and 2 two-piece black center matching rotors) -- no sales tax(Oregon) and free shipping and 100.00 x2 off the rotors... (3000.00 also includes mounting/balancing of the Avon-Venom tires I got with em)
You could prob get a better deal with a local indi shop .. sometimes they will get u the same stuff for their discount.. if they deal with them... maybe 20% off or such.. but then ull have to go through them for install... ask what that will be as well
cant hurt to ask around what shop can get what.. I went direct, thought id install em myself but then had second thoughts.. wanted it done perfectly so.. I brought em over to a cool indi shop near me.
they also put new llyndal Z-pads into my PM brakes at same time...
