big guys on a superglide

big guys on a superglide

i posted this in the general chat forum and I thought maybe I should ask it here in the dyna forum. Im 6"3" 300 lbs and the wife is 5'10" 180 lbs are we gonna fit on a superglide custom? I really love this bike and she does to and we want to get one but we were kinda wondering if we would be happy with it in the long run. So are there any big guys and gals out there ridin superglides?

We are at around 510 together..doesn't make for the best riding...but she dont ride much anyways

does the bike handle that much weight well or have u upgraded rear shocks?

check the specs...the superglide is the same size as a bagger....the air shocks on a bagger will make a big difference. also, the wider front tire and duel brakes will make the bagger stop better under load. the notion that a dyna is small bike and a bagger is a big bike is just a myth. they are very different for sure...test ride em..

Thats about the same weight as my wife and I.I have a 06SG and we have no problems at all .We ride in alot of pretty good size hills here in NW Ar. And SW Mo.

Buy the SuperGlide, do a basic Stage 1, get a good seat, some big bags and a windshield and haul *** on the money you're saving over an Ultra.
