I have the Mustang wide solo which is the same as the vintage (cuz I'm a bit wide) but the point is that it's a great seat. I have no problem riding for hours. The longest ride on this seat so far has been 380 miles and that was with two pit stops. (Necessary when you get older). Not sure where you got the idea that Mustang seats are hard. The stock seat is hard, the Mustang is comfortably solid and by that I mean that it gives you the support you need without your pressure points being hammered. Now, I'm not saying mines the best. It's got to fit your butt, not mine. Some dealers will let you try the HD seats they stock and the seat manufacturers are most always around at rallys etc. and they have seats you can sit on. Take your time, if you can, and check them out. You'll find the seat that's right for you.

Reason: didn't want to get caught by the grammer police.
I'm a huge corbin Hollywood solo fan, and wouldn't have it any other way, but since it seems like you don't go on very long rides the barebones would be a good one. It looks bad a$$, and is very reasonable price!
Ditto. I love the Hollywood Solo. I do 200 miles easy. And the seat isn't even broken in yet.
Hoooraaaayyy!!!!!!!! Thank you 1of2. my sentiments exactly. When you use the search you generally get in a quagmire. With a direct post you get nearly instant relavent answers. As well as some fun smart a$$ replies. Let's play!!!
Thanks guys for the info, looks like the Lepera is possibly the choice. I do ride my bike to work everyday when not raining to start out. The most I would possibly ride in a day is 2 -3 hundred miles.
I would advise you to reconsider the Mustang. I just bought one for my Super Glide because of past experience w/Mustang. -great solo seat, not too hard or soft. The Mustang Vintage was my choice-looks great on the Dynas, pereforms well for all day long rides. Good luck.
