You're right,Denim Black is awful, can you believe they make you pay extra for that. I hate all those compliments I get and it's awful to ride in the rain and dirt and come home and have to spray it down with windex, wipe it off and forget it. What ever happened to the good old days when you could spend hours waxing instead of riding.

Jeez, what has this world come to.

Good Luck

Tom

I sold my 883 when I saw the BOB.

I went in to buy an Electraglide standard, after years of bungee cording my crap to mid sized riceburners I just wanted something comfy with room to haul all the junk that I need for work every day. Then I saw the "bob" all sense of practicality went out the window my first and so far only mod was a decent set of throw over bags, I'd hate to wreck that slick paint jog with bungees.

I rode a sporty for 4 years and never thought of "up grading". The sportster was all any one would want. Also I could not justify an extra 3 grand. The dynas were just bigger sportsters. I saw a Black Cherry Street Bob at a distant dealer and had to have one. Went to my local dealer, ordered one and traded my sporty in on it. Took 2 months to come. Put additional 2K on the sporty. Traded for the Bob and never test rode it, had never riden a dyna. Got 6900 miles on it now and grin every time I fire it up. My sportster buddy had the same thinking as I did (extra $3 grand thing). He rode my Bob 1 mile and traded his 04 883 for an 98 anniversary Fat Boy.

I just got my blk denim "bob" last Thur. and if you look on page 150 of manual the inst. to clean are a little strange.
It recomends dishwasher detergent for the finish and s100 for the rest.
How the hell are you going to clean the rest of the the bike without getting s100 on the finish?
I'm hopeing some of you guys that have had the bike longer than I have can tell me what your using or share some ideas

Thanks

Eddie
