I had the same problem with play in my bars, especially after swapping to the 12.5" Apes from the mini's. I was going to get poly's but before I did I bought some wild1's risers, they are bigger in diameter at the base. After installing these risers and torqueing them down I no longer have and back n forth play in my bars with the stock rubber bushings, and no vibration either.
You can see them in my photo gallery, they look much better than the wimpy stock risers too.
