I sent Accutronix an e-mail about the 3 degree wide glide kit they offer and they suggested that the kit would work with my present configuration. I have a 21 inch rim laced to the stock hub on the stock front end. the rear shocks are stock also. They claim the fork lock and stops would function like stock. Correct me if I'm wrong but I changed the geometry of the front end when I had the larger rim installed.
The thread with my bike is at https://www.hdforums.com/forum/showt...highlight=fork, but I couldn't view the photos ... I think I have them on my other computer. I'll post them in about 8 hours when I'm back in my office. [Strange ... photos from a lot of the old threads are missing.]
By the way, there's a really good site by a guy who changed out the triple trees of his '03 Wide Glide with those off a Fat Boy ... kind of how I'm hoping mine will turn out in due course. The webpage link is at http://www.kenandjudy.us/Harley%20Pi...tEnd/index.htm

Priest, whenever you finish the front end install please open a new thread and tell us all about it! I dig your air cleaner, can you provide more info?

Roadman, is that you on your bike in the pic? Nice! I think what you say about your bike's geometry is right. I am not an expert by any means, but from the trail calculator (see couple of posts up), it seems that the bigger the tire the bigger the trail. I would love to know what the trail would be for our bikes (meaning dynas with 29 degr. rake in the frame) with the accutronix +3 deg. kit and 21 inch rim. I am afraid it would be below the acceptable 4" figure. Does anybody know? I will go with the tried and tested formula (see, e.g., WS6's and jdredfire's bikes) with +2 deg. wg trees and 21" rim. They are very happy with the handling of their bikes, and as for looks just look at the pics! Please do post information and eventually pics if you decide to put the accutronix trees.

If you currently have a mide glide hub on your 21" wheel, I don't think it will just bolt up to wideglide trees. You will probably need some custom spacers.
I put a 21x3.5 on the front of my 07 lowrider and I am planning to purchase 3 degree accutronix trees this winter. I figured the trail and I would be at 4.1", which I think will be perfect. You will be perfectly safe with 3 degree mid glide trees from accutronics. If you go that route, your wheel will bolt right up. Good luck! Of course post before and after pics when your done!
I really like the WS6 approach and I wish I went that route in the beginning. But where I'm at now the Accutronix kit is the way to go if I want the WG front end.
Custom Cycle Engineering a company based in SoCal near San Diego makes a wide glide conversion kit.
In addition, they also make axles and spacers for adapting narrow glide and mid glide wheels for wide glide front ends.
So, if you have the front end figured out, but not how to get your original wheel to fit, you might check with them on getting the right wheel spacers for your application.
I think you may be over-engineering ("nuking" in Navy parlance) the whole rake and trail thing trying to decide whether the 21" vice 19" will change the setup.
As I understand, the 21" wheel will fit under the fender for 19"--largely due to the fact that the profile of the tire is lower (lower sidewalls).
Also, 1 degree difference between 2 and 3 degree triple trees is not likely to even be noticeable .... Maybe the difference between 1.5 degree and 5 degree would be substantial enough to worry about ....
Just my $0.02.
Good luck ... when I get my setup completed I'll post some photos.

Thanks wiegs, a trail figure at last: +3 accutronix with 21" wheel, 4.1". This might work! Guys do post pics/driving experience whenever you come around doing the conversion.
