Mine came with swirl marks. The dealership's genius detailer used Rubbing Compound on the tank when he was cleaning the bike prior to them handing it over to me.
5 miles on the bike; perfect paint. Yeah, let's compound it with a 12v volt drill & a foam buffer pad. Freaking idiot.
This is why I would like to drag all "detailers" (car, boat and bike) behind the truck at speeds in excess of 56 mph.
love my black bike, but I love blue too, so I'm gonna do some vinyl navy blue skulls all over my bike in a poka dot pattern, should look good against the black so much that you'll have to look up close to see that ther're skulls. but gotta wait till it warmer out to apply them.

When any type of sanding and buffing won't work, you need touch-up paint. Forget the bottle brush touch-up, this is a system that seriously makes it look line new.
I used a Dr Colorchip on the front of Ms B black BMW convertable. I mean the previous owner must a tailgated a sand and gravel truck at some time and the front end was distroyed. I tried this system on a recomendation and I swear to God it made it look like absoultely brand new. There was NO evidence that there was ever a chip of any size on the front of that car.
Oh and for a buffer, the only one to buy is professional grade. Top of the list is a Porter Cable 7424XP 6" variable speed random orbital random polisher. You can find them on eBay now for under $150. Not cheap. Not a toy. Amazing results!
