I have the Boss Bags and really like them and fit a bunch of stuff in them. I think their advertisement stated fitting 31 12 oz. cans of something in there.
I also have HD throw over bags with the chrome supports I am looking to sell.
I don't know what kind of bags these are - the previous owner added them. They are not very big (compared to the bags on a bagger) - as is always going to be the case with Dyna bags, but I fit much more into them than I initially imagined possible. I can put them on or take them off in a matter of seconds - and I can padlock them, and there is no bracket left on the bike when they are off.
I prefer the way the bike looks with them on, so they are pretty much always on... and I need them to carry my stuff.
I agree with Sonic's comments. I think my bike looks leaner and maybe more nimble without the bags. Mine are older HD and they carry my extra gloves, glasses, and little odds and ends, but they are REALLY small. I might try a small T-Bag or roll bag on the back rack for day-long rides and go clean for cruisin' around town.
Jesus...another company who REALLY likes their bags. Again...WHY DO THEY HAVE TO BE OVER $600 FOR A SET OF BAGS. I just don't get it. Why can't we get a decent set of bags that don't cost a paycheck?

Get a bigger paycheck. If your boss won't agree to that, ask him to pay you the same amount more often.
