I'm 6'2" with size 13 shoe and ride an '07 fxdwg with forward controls. When riding I have to angle my feet outward to avoid controls. after a while it is very uncomfortable. toying with the idea of some kind of peg extensions or footboard. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks and ride safe.

Here's a suggestion... if someone calls you a "poser" just let it go my friend.
Hopefully we can discuss your forward control problems in a civilized manner though.

lol -my thoughts exactly.
sounds like you have an uncomfortable bend at the ankle.
you can buy extensions for the forwards to make them 2" more foward, this will give you less bend at the ankle. you'll still need to angle your feet a bit - but it might make things better.

Perhaps the attached peg extender V-Twin P/N 27-1643 could be obtained from Discount Cycle Parts.com to allow you more room at the end of your peg to rest your foot without contorting it.
On the shifter side, you might consider re-positioning your shift lever. Remove the pinch bolt and slide the lever off the spline; rotate clockwise about 5 degrees and re-attach. You could try a couple of iterations to see if you could get a position for the shifter that would give you more clearance under which you might rest your foot without contorting it.
Thought I'd throw a couple of ideas out there for you.
At 6'2" and Harley forwards, I wanted more extension and also wanted a wider stance to get my legs off the horn and air cleaner. I went with Kuryakyn offset extensions.
I am 6'3" with a size 14 shoe and know what your talking about. My main problem was trying to slide my foot under the shifter peg to up shif. I adjusted the angle as one poster stated. I've become used to it now, but I am always thinking about a longer shifter and brake pedal.
