I have decided to stay with apes.... gotta get some cooler ones now....
14" apes...
I am at a crossroads though.... I like the Pudgy Gimps , regular Gimps, Chubbys, even carlini gangster apes...
can my bike pull off the black ones? should I stick with chrome... is the Wideglide front too wide for the Gimps...
I will be doing a new light up front... stock streetbob headlight black bezel.. help with some imput please and if anyone has gimps with the wideglide front would like to see 'em.
I also am running the stock console and not the chrome one...the stock is the color of the tank...looks better.
carlini gangster apes in chrome for sure would loook SICK! i would stay away from the gimps with that front end... man you got so much bling on there the blac would look out of place... do nt run the bob headlight though... find a low rider wiht a chrome bucket... that would look good!

Gangster apes are out... 1 1/4" in the clamp area only...
I think Gimps look best in black (check out Vladt's bike for some Pudgy Gimps), but I'm also not sure about the WG front end. One of their strong points is that they look great on the narrower trees.
If you go with the Wild 1 Chubbys then it's chrome all the way.
I have 16" tall x 10 1/2" wide chubbies ( 509 series ) i think. Check out my album to see pics of the bars from front view to back to side view
I think I am98% certain the chubbies will end up on the scoot (your album helped with this).....
Also think that I will keep my light .... I ordered a different mount that will move the light foward an inch as this may be what is bugging me about the way it looks (too close to the trees)...
Cool part is the chubbys are the least expensive alternative so major bonus to get what I want and have it cost less than the other options!
