I have been hearing the same thing from my stealer since Jan. I tried the Eastern Performance web site this past Friday, they had some V&H pipes for the '06 Dyna. They should get delivered tomorrow, but we will see. GOOD LUCK
I emailed Vance & Hines and got the following response from them:
Johnny,
We have shipped drag around 300 of those. Its just that everyone in
the
world with a 06 Dyna has those on order. It will just take time to
fulfill
all b/o. It all depends when you are on Drag Specialties back order
list.
I just got an email stating that my Shortshots will be delivered today. To make a long story short, I'll end up with two sets of pipes. I'm going to give the shortshots a try and if I like them, I'll have a set of slightly used Pythons up for sale. I'll keep everyone posted...
Hey Rickshog,
I wouldn't try Parts Direct, I have had a set of Big Radius on backorder
since the middle of January. I phone them once a week and get the same reply
( 2 more weeks ) Good luck!
That must be their stock answer. My pipes were on backorder for about 6 weeks and every time I called they also told me "two weeks". They did arrive this week however.
They keep telling me "two more weeks" on my Samsons as well. If they don't ship from Drag the 31st, I'm having them do the big bore kit and forward controls and I'll retune the ECM with the SERT to run with no friggin' mufflers!!!
