Default cracked casing 09 Street Bob
I'm totally bummed out. I noticed what looked like a leak from my cam cover. I took my bike in for the 1000 mi service and brought it to the service managers attention. I got the bad news today:cracked casing. I was getting geared up to go to Street Vibrations in Reno this week, but now it looks like I'm $h!t out of luck. Anybody have any suggestions.

that sucks....no suggestions except let them fix it under warranty.....maybe they'll shoot you a loaner bike for a few days??

If they won't give you a loaner... perhaps they'll cut you a break on a rental? Talk to your dealer... worth a shot.

A MONTH FOR A CASING!!!! WHAT! THEY SHOULD PROVIDE YOU A NEW BIKE! Either that or a rental... call MoCo go above the dealer! that is BS with under a 1--- miles on it! welcome to the wonderful world of WE GOT YOUR MONEY SUCKER other wise know as the STEALERSHIP!

sorry to hear that .you are one in a thousand or more. i know that dont help but i would think they would give you a loaner with no problem.

They should either give you a loner or take a cam box cover off another bike and get you out the door. No bull just good customer service.

OK, here's the latest. Dealer is sending for and putting a new engine on my bike. They gave me a, now get this: 2000 Road King to ride until my bike is done.
