need a "BRIGHT WHITE" headlight bulb-suggestions

I've got the PIAA bulb on my Low Rider, and my Hubby has them in all 3 of Softail Heritage classic lights We wouldnt get anything other than them. They are SO MUCH MORE INTENSE than the Sylvania. Believe me, I checked out both bulbs.
You can buy both the Sylvania and the PIAA the bulb on Amazon.com if you cant find them in your local automotive store. We got our through our local Harley Dealer. They'll order the PIAA for you as well.
Have had them in for a year now, on BOTH BIKES, and I leave mine on HIGH BEAM all the time.
So for what it's worth, I wont put anything in mine except PIAA. For those who have had problems with premature burnout........BET YOU USED NAKED FINGERS to take them out of the package and put them in. ANY KIND OF OIL OR FINGERPRINTS will cause premature burn out. Forget using a towel too....unless you're sure it doesnt have imbedded oil or grease on it. Best to use latex gloves or gloves you're sure have not come into contact with solvents or debris.

I'll second (maybe third?) the Sylvania SilverStar. It was an improvement. So was adjusting the headlight. I'd be embarassed to tell you how many feet above the required height the beam was hitting the wall at 25 feet. I bought the bike used w/ 750 miles on it and at first I just thought "something's odd about this freakin' headlight"...

replace yer stock light with h4 HID bulb. u can choose any levels of white from 3000kelvin (a bit yellow or like stock bulbs) up to 10,000kelvin but higher than 6000 is not recommended, too white they get to be blueish and not so good in rain.
many brands sell hid xenon lights now. piaa, hella, phillips (if price is not an issue to u) and cheaper chinese/taiwan made hid lights.
h4 hid comes in 35w bulb, so it wouldnt melt yer reflector, stock halogen bulbs are usually 55/60w.
