No way, I'm 5'10" and with forwards it seem it was a custom fit for me. Drove a ultra and it seemed bulky and less comfy for the legs. Maybe Fat Bob looks small cause 16" wheels some bikes have a 21" tire in front. Anyways No its not small.
I'm really researching the hell out of this bike because i'm in love with this thing. I just threatened the wife that I was going to sell her car to get one....not a good idea! Anyway...do any of the fat bob owners feel that their bike seems small. I'm 5-10 and some of the pics with riders on them kinda makes the bike look tiny. Is it just crappy photography or is it truly a tiny bike. I've seen and sat on the bike and it felt bigger than 91.7 inches but have not test rode one.
It's not a tiny bike. I'm 6'1" & 215 lbs... it fits me fine, but I think a Spinger SoftailI & I were ment to be together.
I'm 5'9" with short legs. I've got forward controls and moved the pegs back 2" and now it's perfect. I've owned many bikes and the Fat Bob is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned.
I rode a Road King for a couple of hours recently and that felt slightly bigger than mine but the difference was not significant once I was actually sat on it.
6'2" 210 here. Wide Glide, and Fat Bob are the two bikes that feel really good to me right out of the box. So, like the others have said, at 5'10", you'll be fine.
Agree with much of what's been said. You're 5'10" and with forward controls, the Bob is perfect. I'm 5'11, 220, and mine fits like a custom. Go get it and enjoy it.
Dynas are hardly small...there's a whopping 2.8" difference in length between a Fat Bob and a Softail Night Train...and surprisingly, less than that between a Fat Bob and Road King. I didn't realize this til just now, but the Fat Bob is 13lbs heavier than the Night Train too. So that whole idea that Dynas are small just went out the window.
